Ingredients
1 cup whole grain farro (not pearled or semi-pearled)
2 ½ cups low-sodium vegetable broth or water
1 tablespoon olive oil (optional)
1 pinch of sea salt
Optional: bay leaf, fresh thyme, or garlic cloves
Instructions
1. Rinse farro thoroughly under cold water.
2. Add farro, broth, salt, and optional seasonings to Instant Pot.
3. Lock lid, set to sealing, and pressure cook on high for 10 minutes.
4. Let natural pressure release for 8–10 minutes.
5. Release remaining pressure, open lid, and fluff farro with a fork.
6. Drain excess liquid or sauté if needed.
7. Optional: Stir in lemon juice or herbs for added flavor.
