Description
A fragrant and floral jam made from organic rose petals. Perfect on toast, in yogurt, or paired with cheeses.
Ingredients
Scale
2 cups fresh rose petals (or 1 cup dried)
1½ cups sugar
¾ cup water
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
Optional: 1 tsp rose water
Instructions
Rinse petals and remove any yellow tips.
Simmer sugar and water until dissolved.
Add petals and cook for 10–15 minutes.
Stir in lemon juice to brighten color.
Let cool and store in a clean jar.
Notes
Store refrigerated for up to 3 weeks.
Use organic, unsprayed petals only.
For a stronger floral taste, add rose water.
