Rose Petal Jam

Description

A fragrant and floral jam made from organic rose petals. Perfect on toast, in yogurt, or paired with cheeses.


Ingredients

2 cups fresh rose petals (or 1 cup dried)

1½ cups sugar

¾ cup water

1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

Optional: 1 tsp rose water


Instructions

  • Rinse petals and remove any yellow tips.

  • Simmer sugar and water until dissolved.

  • Add petals and cook for 10–15 minutes.

  • Stir in lemon juice to brighten color.

  • Let cool and store in a clean jar.

Notes

  • Store refrigerated for up to 3 weeks.

  • Use organic, unsprayed petals only.

  • For a stronger floral taste, add rose water.
